Betsson Group Affiliates announces new head of affiliates

Internal candidate moves up from previous role as business development manager.

Betsson Group Affiliates has announced Triston Smook as the company’s new head of affiliates.

In his capacity, Smook will be leading the affiliate department and driving quality traffic to Betsson’s 20+ brands, as well as making sure the team is creating professional long-term relationships with affiliate partners and other stakeholders.

Smook has more than 18 years of experience in igaming. He is skilled in affiliate management, business development, sales, digital marketing, contact centres, epayments and risk management. A strong marketing professional and highly experienced in markets globally, Smook enjoyed success in driving new business and ensuring the growth of Betsson’s brands in his previous role as business development manager.  

Smook started his new role on 14 November and is based at Betsson’s operational HQ in Malta.
