Online gambling content provider Pragmatic Play has entered into a South Africa-facing partnership with sports betting operator Hollywoodbets.

Under the tier-one deal, Pragmatic Play will supply its complete portfolio of slot games and scratch card games to Hollywoodbets in South Africa.

Hollywoodbets, which is supported by an affiliate program, has been serving South Africa for a number of years, providing sports betting, slots, lucky number games, live casino and virtual sports.

“At Hollywoodbets, we strive to offer our customers premium entertainment and experiences that bring real value, and, in Pragmatic Play, we have found the ideal partner to enhance our existing portfolio of games,” Hollywoodbets’ betting operations manager Dermot O’Connell said.

“With the support of Betting Entertainment Technologies, our betting software provider, this partnership will complement our existing product range, bringing our customers an array of new games.”

Pragmatic Play chief business development officer Yossi Barzely added: “South Africa, while being well-established, still holds much opportunity for suppliers and partnering with its top operator simply refines that scope.

“Hollywoodbets is exactly the type of tier-one client we look to, in assisting us with our regional growth ambitions and we’re delighted to partner with them.”
