Acroud has announced that Andrzej Mieszkowicz has been appointed as the group’s CFO and will assume the role from 1 November.

Mieszkowicz’s new role will also see him form part of Acroud’s group management.

Previously, Mieszkowicz has worked for Cherry AB Group, The Mill Adventure and Lady Luck Games, where in the latter he served as CFO. He also comes with a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Economics, Prague.

Acroud CEO, Robert Andersson, said on the appointment: “I am very happy that Andrzej has accepted our offer to become our permanent CFO, being solid experience to an already competent team.”

Record Q2

Back in August, the group reported record revenue as well as an all-time high for new depositing customers in Q2. The group announced €10.3m (8.9m/$11.3m) for revenue for the three-month period.

However, impairment costs raised in the period of €20m led to Acroud reporting a net loss. This meant that the group reported a pre-tax loss of €21.1m, in contrast to a €125,000 profit in 2022.
