Rebrand under flagship portal marks a fresh start for the business, according to non-exec chairman Tim Tepass.

KaFe Rocks has announced a rebrand to Time2Play Media following an extensive analysis of the company’s existing portfolio, values, structure and market positioning,

Time2Play Media non-executive chairman Tim Tepass said: [W]e are very excited to put our best foot forward as Time2Play Media, living and breathing our ‘Play as One’ value with our incredible teams who will bring this brand to life.”

Tepass added that he was “confident that this new brand identity will help us achieve our long-term goals and reinforce our position as a leading, trusted name in the industry”.

The affiliate has unveiled an updated corporate website in tandem with the rebrand.

Tepass also emphasised that the company’s “focus would remain on delivering exceptional value to our users, partners, and employees”.

The business founded by Feda Mecan and Tepass in 2018 currently operates 35+ portals across 10 languages.

The business has been searching for a CEO since Simon Pilkington’s departure was announced in early November. This was followed later that month by KaFe Rocks and Glintnor announcing they were pulling the plug on an acquisition of the affiliate business by the online casino operator and provider.

The businesses cited market conditions as the reason for not fully completing the acquisition, and stressed that Pilkington’s departure was unrelated.

Pilkington oversaw initiatives such as the move to fully remote working during his time at the helm of the company, earning the company several Awards for its people-first culture.

The affiliate has also pushed safer gambling messaging and initiatives through its Time2Play brand, including a partnership with the Gamban blocking tool.
